Rain was a scriptwriting project where the goal was to create a full script for a game one to two hours in length.

Sunset City is a city touted to be full of opportunity and prosperity for those who work hard enough to get it. The civilians know that this isn’t entirely true. Multiple Megacorporations rule the city, controlling the government from the shadows. Among these is the Umbra Corporation, famed for their ruthless pursuit of technological innovation.

A girl wakes up in a forest outside the city, cold, wet, and without any memory. She discovers that she has the ability to manipulate water around her in trying to protect herself from the burning debris caused by lightning. After a close encounter with strange soldiers, she goes in pursuit of the Umbra Corporation, seeking to find the truth of her being.
